Sharleen was born in the Vancouver area of British Columbia, Canada. She has been drawing and painting since high school. Continuing in her art studies and explorations, some of her instructors include Tim White, Dan Varnals and Joseph Wong.

Sharleen is a member of the Richmond Artists Guild and an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists.

She currently resides in Richmond B.C.
